First fire-fighting tug

Construction of Captain Jean Thomas, the first tug to fight against the fire pollution exploited on the Seine. Strengthening of the presence on the Seine with the installation of a pontoon in Port-Jérôme for the ESSO refinery.

Following the arrival of Claude Thomas, acquisition of the towing activity of the English group Powell Duffryn, present in Rouen with tugs, bringing the Armament's tug fleet to 7.
